Slideluck Potshow Barcelona launched on Saturday, September 15th, 2007, right after the Visa Por L'Image Photojournalism Festival in Perpignan, France. It took place at MauMau Underground in Poble Sec. The turnout was a little light as it was so close to August vacation, but the vibe was fantastic. We decided to make MauMau our unofficial home in BCN from that point on. Because the locals are so accustomed to eating dinner much later in Barcelona, we chose to show the slideshow first, and eat dinner afterwards, at about 10:30 pm. Special thanks to Lauren Hermele who basically produced the show on her own.
