Slideluck Potshow launched in Detroit on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit's Ladybug Gallery and Studios. The show brought together a small, but hardy group of artists, photographers and art-lovers from Detroit, Ann Arbor, and the surrounding area. There was a strong presence of photographers from The Detroit Free-Press, as well as a nice article. The New York SLPS contingent was completely star-struck by Meg White of the White Stripes' presence, while the locals knew her as one of their own.
