Slideluck Potshow XIV took place on Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Aperture Foundation in Chelsea. The show was co-curated by Lesley Martin, Aperture's book publisher. Doron Gild worked with BronImaging and Scheimpflug Digital to recreate the corner of Irving Penn's studio, in recognition of his recent passing. Joann Kim, Annie Moss and Michele Giordano worked hard to run the potluck and bring in restaurants and foodies of all types, including: Umani: People + Food, The Greenhorns, Bistro de la Gare, Skimkim, The City Bakery, BK Farmyards, La Finca del Sur and Rooftop Farms. We collected food donations at the event and donated 400 pounds of goods to a local soup kitchen afterwards. The show was produced by Wren Noble, Kai Margarida-Ramirez, and was sponsored by Nikon, Brooklyn Brewery, Resonate, Artnear, 44 North Vodka, Perrier, joby, and Lowe Pro.
